Freda: The other day, while driving home from buying groceries, I saw this: A simple sedan with the words “Just Divorced” scrawled across its back window & surrounded in sloppy hearts drawn in white paint. I laughed and thought, “What are these times we live in.” …the divorce rate actually fell during the early 1980’s recession. And she’s wrong to say it stabilized after that, as divorce rates continued to fall. In fact, divorce rates have been falling for the past 30 years.
